Can you imagine what it must have been like for Jesus’ Mother Mary, his followers and friends to witness the absolute brutality of his crucifixion? The Son that Mary bore and raised with such tenderness and love; the Teacher whom the disciples left everything to follow; the friends who surrounded him with great devotion.
At critical moments in our life, we find ourselves asking the question, “What does it all mean?” And when we find an answer, psychologists tell us, we have arrived at maturity. Finding an answer, however, is no easy task. It does not simply come with age or the passing of years. It does not simply happen nor do we simply stumble upon it. Discovering “Meaning” or purpose in life takes work, takes effort, takes reflection and for those who believe in God, takes prayer.
It has been brought to the attention of the Diocese of Trenton that an organization called “Mary’s Way Worldwide Apostolate” is operating in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, Brick Township, within the Diocese of Trenton.

It is with great sadness that I learned of the sudden death of His Eminence Edward Cardinal Egan (April 2, 1932 – March 5, 2015) this afternoon in New York City where he served as Archbishop from 2000-2009. He was 82.
