Students, educators head back to school across Diocese

Thousands of children across the Diocese of Trenton’s four counties embarked on a year of spiritual and academic growth the week of Sept. 5. 

Trenton Monitor photographers were on hand to capture the excitement and joy — and sometimes nervousness – felt by students and teachers on their first days back to school. In the 24-page, full-color supplement to  The Monitor, you’ll find   back-to-school messages from Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., Superintendent JoAnn Tier and  Associate Superintendent Margaret Boland;meet six new principals from schools across the Diocese; as well as learn how educators  are improving tech and academic programs from kindergarten through senior year.
