St. Rose Grammar School, a Catholic elementary school in Belmar, NJ with over 300 students, is seeking a dynamic principal committed to Catholic education and academic excellence. We are a part of a large campus located just a mile from the Atlantic Ocean with an excellent High School and Parish community. Our location is important to our community and provides us many opportunities for education, spiritual renewal, and reflection.
As a core member of a parish community that includes the Grammar school, High school and Parish family, you will be expected to lead the school by providing key leadership, supervision, and spiritual advancement to the teachers, students, and school families. St. Rose Grammar School has high expectations and wants a leader who will unify the school, its students, teachers, parents, and parish and set a high academic and spiritual standard for the school. Our Grammar School recently celebrated its Centennial Anniversary and our High School is set to do the same in 2023. With this in mind, we are looking for an individual who will share our enthusiasm for success as we educate the whole student, body, mind and spirit.
St. Rose is in the beginning stages of restructuring our schools, and we are looking for a capable administrator who will implement the strategic plan of uniting our two schools into a single campus collaboration. This will entail coordination with the High School, the Parish, and both School Advisory Boards to develop this new model and then proceed with its implementation over the next several years.
As principal, you will provide strong leadership to the entire school community, most notably the teachers and students with the goal of aligning all stakeholders in support of the school mission. You will create and nurture a collaborative environment and be willing to engage stakeholders in the decision-making process when appropriate, but also make tough decisions when necessary. You will work with faculty to foster their cooperation and professional growth and with the pastor and principal of St. Rose High School to set the future course for our school community.
