A busy January Church calendar is the main focus in the January installment of “The Shepherd’s Voice,” Bishop David M. O’Connell’s hour-long, monthly radio program and video produced by Domestic Church Media.
The Bishop will discuss with DCM host Jim Manfredonia some of the special activities and observances that are unfolding this month, including the Jan. 14 designation of World Day for Migrants and Refugees Jan. 14; the March for Life in Washington D.C. Jan. 19 and several local Respect Life events that mark the anniversary of Roe v. Wade legalizing abortion in the U.S.; the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity from Jan. 18-25, and Catholic Schools Week, which kicks off Jan. 28.
Typically aired on the first Friday each month, “The Shepherd’s Voice” was delayed by a week in January due to inclement weather. It first aired Jan. 12, and is available at
