In preparation for the World Meeting of Families, the final of a series of four Family Holy Hours will be held Sept. 3, from 7 to 8 p.m. in Christ the King Parish (Our Lady Star of the Sea Church), Long Branch.
The Monmouth County installment follows three similar Holy Hours, one in each of the other three counties of the Diocese of Trenton. Each has featured Scripture reading, silent prayer, music, intercessions and personal testimonies.
Sponsored by the Diocese as a prelude to the World Meeting, the Holy Hours have thus far drawn hundreds to installments held in St. Anthony Parish, Hamilton; St. John Neumann Parish, Mount Laurel and St. Joseph Parish, Toms River. At each, families shared personal testimonies about their own experiences,
