Custodian Full-Time

Overview:
St. Leo the Great Parish in Lincroft is seeking a dependable and motivated Full-Time Custodian to support the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of our parish campus. This includes our church, school, meeting rooms, and other facilities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who works well independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of buildings and restrooms
• Conduct light maintenance and basic repair work
• Identify and manage minor projects from start to finish
• Assess and report facility needs, including recommendations for larger-scale repairs or upgrades
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for parishioners, students, staff, and visitors
• Set up and break down furniture and equipment for events or meetings as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable using basic tools and equipment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to service

Work Schedule & Compensation:
Schedule and salary will be determined based on the qualifications and availability of the selected candidate.
