Catholic schools throughout the Diocese of Trenton will join with others nationwide to celebrate
National Catholic Schools Week(CWS), Jan. 27 to Feb. 2 with open houses, exhibits, prayer services, showcases, Mass and a variety of other exciting activities for students, families, parishioners and community members.
In his annual CSW message,
Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M. stresses Catholic schools as “one of the most prominent means for the transmission of our Catholic faith to the young.” Bishop O’Connell continues, “Building upon the foundations established within Catholic families, our Catholic schools partner with them in opening the minds, hearts and souls of the students entrusted to their care to look at the world in a different, fuller, deeper way motivated by our Catholic faith.”
