DONATIONS TO THE ANNUAL CATHOLIC HOME MISSIONS APPEAL "make a real impact on real people" by supporting pastoral ministry in U.S. mission territory and strengthening the Church overall, said the chairman of the U.S. bishops' subcommittee on Catholic Home Missions.
In the Diocese of Trenton, as in most dioceses around the nation, the collection is held at all Masses April 27-28.

The fair will provide an opportunity for employment seekers to speak with representatives from the Diocese’s 30 schools about openings for teachers at all grade levels – pre-K, elementary, middle school, high school, and more as well as various coaching positions and other topics of interest.

The event is open to all youth and young adults, as well as their family and friends – including junior high, high school and young adult ministries, scouts, altar servers, youth choirs, home school families, athletic programs, parish religious education programs and parish families.
Sponsored by all the dioceses of New Jersey, the day will begin with gates opening at 9:15 a.m. The rally will open at 9:45 a.m. with a presentation in Showcase Arena coordinated by the Archdiocese of Newark. Mass will be celebrated at 6 p.m. in the Batman Stunt Arena, which will be coordinated by the Diocese of Paterson.

An annual event hosted by the diocesan Office of Pastoral Life and Mission, this year’s program will offer a day of self-care for all tending to family members as well as Catholic clergy, religious and laity who work or volunteer in parish caring ministries(visiting the sick, or homebound, bereavement support, addiction and recovery ministry, support groups for separated and divorced and other ministries that provide spiritual accompaniment).
