Catholic high school graduation coverage, diocesan grants awarded to social outreach agencies

Hopes, expectations and achievements culminated in Baccalaureate Masses and commencement ceremonies throughout May and June in Catholic high schools across the Diocese of Trenton, as the Class of 2018 successfully completed their secondary education to embark on new journeys of faith. In a year that saw both triumph and adversity, more than 1,500 graduates from 11 high schools stepped forward to receive their diplomas and be celebrated by their proud loved ones and wider school communities.
 
The Monitor was on location at all of these schools to produce a 40-page, full color keepsake magazine and comprehensive digital media coverage.  The magazine will be sent to all subscribers with the June 28 issue, and is available for special order by writing to Monitor-Marketing@dioceseoftrenton.org.

Ten parishes, organizations and agencies that serve the people of the Diocese of Trenton were awarded a total of $10,000 in grants from the 2018 Bishop George W. Ahr Endowment Fund.
 
The fund, which bears the name of the seventh bishop of the Diocese, was established to present annual grants to any special ministry or organization that seeks to provide services for the vulnerable and/or poor population within their community.
