Make a Difference… Join the Mission.

This year's Mission: Jersey (2022) will consist of FOUR, one day, in-person service events around the Diocese! Each of the days will be similar to each other. This Community Service retreat experience brings teens together from around the Diocese to live out our Catholic Faith and help those in need.

Teens are invited to join us for 1 of the service days.

"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do  GOOD WORKS, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10

Who can come?

All teens in the 8th grade through those who just graduated highschool (12th grade) are welcome! Please choose just ONE of the dates to attend. 

What do we do?  

We will all meet at a Parish and remain there the entire day.  All participants will learn about and participate in several different service projects that support local community service agencies.  All projects will be arranged and supervised by adult leaders and representatives from the organizations we partner with.

Our day will also include prayer, a witness talk , breakout discussions,  new friends, games and more! It is very much a service “retreat”. Please come ready to help in whatever way is needed! 

Please try to register at least one week prior to the date you are attending to help us best prepare for the event!

It is expected that participants will be present for the entirety of the day. Please make this event a priority! If there are special circumstances that will not make this possible, please contact us to inform us prior to the date of service or consider joining another service date.  Thank you!

What time?  Drop off: 9:30am... Pick up: 5pm

Is there a Cost?
 

a $10 per person Donation is requested to help off-set the cost of project materials

$10 donation- If for any reason you cannot attend your scheduled day, please consider making the $10 donation to help us with the costs!

How to register? 

Youth Ministers can register teens as a parish group or Parents can register individuals on the form below.

*If you do not have a group to come with you are still welcome! There will be adult chaperones from the Diocese and the local parish on site for supervision.   

Adults/Chaperones:  

All Adult/chaperone leaders have completed safe environment training and have been fingerprinted. 

Tips for groups:

Space is limited so register ASAP!

• Parish/Group Registrations must include both youth and adult participants. 

• If in a parish group, the primary contact on the registration form should be the youth minister or leading chaperone that will be in attendance at Mission: Jersey.
• The Youth Minister or lead chaperone for the day should collect and bring with them all the release forms.
