On October 29, the Diocese of Trenton, will mark the beginning of the 2022 Traveling Torch celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe, in the year of the family.

Torches will be lit and sent forth and they will travel to the many blessed parishes of the Diocese of Trenton throughout the whole month of November. The Guadalupe Torch light will shine in the parishes as a symbol of the impassioned prayer of those who participate in the Diocesan wide mission to honor Our Lady and to remember our dearly departed, offering our intercessions to Her in the trust that she will bring them to her Son. The Guadalupe torch light reminds us that our Lady of Guadalupe is present in these moments of prayer and advocating our requests to her Son Jesus, who we know will never deny her anything.

Then on Saturday of December 4, we will celebrate the culmination of all the traveling torches coming together and the joy of knowing that we have prayed for the dearly departed in this Holy Souls month of November, as our Mother Church instructs us. More details on these extraordinary commemorative ceremonies to follow.
