This two-session workshop provides a thorough overview of the science of Natural Family Planning for all who work directly to prepare engaged couples for Catholic Marriage; geared for Pre-Cana team members, mentor couples, clergy, and lay pastoral ministers.
Content is adapted from the Natural Family Planning Program of the U. S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and includes the following topics:
Definition of Natural Family Planning and Responsible Parenthood
Human Reproduction, hormonal changes, signs of fertility
Overview of NFP Methods (Cervical Mucus, Sympto-Thermal)
NFP Learning Options and NFP tracking/charting tools (phone apps., etc.)
Benefits of NFP for Marriage and Family Life
