Small Groups Initiative
While there is much to come, a key initiative within this Playbook will be Eucharistic Revival small groups. Small groups are a powerful way to see the fruit of the Revival at your parish! This 7-session study has been created specifically for the Year of Parish Revival and is provided to parishes free of charge, along with the training and support you need to be successful.
Your first priority as a Parish Point Person is to discuss with your Pastor whether to implement Eucharistic Revival small groups at your parish this fall or, alternatively, after the new year. Trainings were held live earlier this year for those implementing small groups in the fall (or just curious about the study and process).
If you anticipate a fall start date for your groups, please watch the training videos below for “Eucharistic Revival Small Group Planning”. This training addresses the steps you need to take now to prepare for fall small groups. For those parishes planning to host Eucharistic Revival small groups in the new year, this training will be held again in early fall.
Plan a Eucharistic procession
Please encourage the priests of your diocese to check out these planning resources prepared by one of our key partners for the Revival, the Knights of Columbus.
Plans for the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage
Throughout the National Eucharistic Revival, local communities are gathering tinder in response to God’s invitation for renewal, calling on the Holy Spirit to bring the flame.
In keeping with this vision, the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage will accompany Jesus from door-to-door, lighting hearts on fire along the way. Then, at the National Eucharistic Congress in July 2024, all these flames will blaze together. Click
YEAR THREE
National Eucharistic Congress
July 17 – 21, 2024 Indianapolis, Indiana
This third year of the Revival will be marked by historic initiatives that will propel our nation into
a new chapter of faith and mission.
Just as crowds followed Christ throughout his earthly ministry, our nation will process with our Eucharistic Lord from the north, south, east, and west edges of our country in the first–ever National Eucharistic Pilgrimage.
Thousands will have a powerful opportunity for encounter and healing as Jesus comes to meet them on his way to the National Eucharistic Congress.
The 10th National Eucharistic Congress will be a milestone within the Revival and a historic moment
for the Church in the U.S. The reinstitution of this legacy will gather 80,000 Catholics in Indianapolis for
a transformative experience that will bear fruit for generations to come.
These pivotal moments will launch the United States into the Year of Mission, sending on-fire Catholics back out into the world to share Christ’s love “for the life of the world.” We will continue to spread the Revival movement throughout the Church’s 2025 Jubilee Year and beyond.
Having enkindled a missionary fire in the hearts of the American faithful, the Holy Spirit will send us out on mission to share the gift of our Eucharistic Lord as we enter the universal Church’s jubilee year in 2025.
