Laura Williams’ journey to music was shaped by overcoming significant hardships. Bullied in school, she was homeschooled for a year, during which she channeled her pain into writing poetry and singing. After regaining her confidence, she joined a theater company and discovered her vocal potential. However, a move at age 14 brought new challenges, including a false rumor that damaged her reputation. Despite struggles, including an eating disorder during the COVID-19 pandemic, Laura found solace in her faith and eventually rediscovered her passion for music. After praying for guidance, she was contacted by a Christian-based management team, leading her to pursue a career in Christian music. Though initially uncertain, Laura embraced this path, feeling called to share Jesus’ message through her songs. After enduring personal struggles and hardships, including a tough breakup and financial challenges, Laura’s life changed when NBC’s The Voice reached out to her. This opportunity helped launch her career and restore her sense of self. Now, Laura is recording new music in Nashville and preparing to release her first Christian songs, with a goal of connecting with others and sharing her story of faith and healing.
