We provide the canvas...you and your teens provide
the paint & inspiration!

We would love to cover the walls/windows of our worship space at Donovan Catholic High School with banners
and posters made by your teens.

All you have to do is...
1. Fill out the form below or let us know that you are interested! We will contact
you about getting you your canvas.

2. Begin designing your image to fit on think black paper, approx. 12 feet across by
8 feet high (which we will provide to you).

As you plan, consider:
- introducing the DYC theme to your teens
- together read and discuss the readings of the day, especilly in relation to the theme
- remember that this year's DYC is also inspired by the Eucharistic Revivial
- brainstorm images and messages that would inspire others to go on your canvas
- Keep in mind the Canvas is huge, so plan for a large image(s) that can be seen from a distance.
- Plan for your artwork to be near the center of the canvas and leave at least 6 inches of boarder on all sides where tape can be placed. (Also, the very top of the canvas may not be seen, so please leave approximately 1 foot of your canvas blank at the TOP).
- If possible, please plan to use bright colors (remember it will be on black paper!)
- Images can be as simple or as creative as you like… we just ask that they are BIG, faith based, connected to our theme/readings, and or the Eucharistic Revivial.
3. Create your masterpiece! Empower your teens to use their gifts and talents
and make this project their own!

*** Completed canvases can be brought to Donovan Catholic High School in Toms River, NJ on Friday, February 3th between 3-7pm. If needed, other arrangements can be made.
