Times of doubt plague most people of faith at some point or another. There is nothing wrong with having questions, and sometimes those questions and doubts can lead to a new, mature understanding of faith, making faith your own rather than that of your family of origin. Look at your doubt as an opportunity for growth.
Consider looking for a faith sharing group in your parish, where questions and answers are a part of the process. Share your doubts and questions with a spiritually mature friend or family member, one that can offer insight and not judgement. And in any case, consider speaking with your parish priest. He may be just the person to listen your thoughts, perhaps suggest a good spiritual director or offer suggestions for the next steps.
