The Department of Computer Services provides information technology and systems that support the ministry of the Church in the Diocese of Trenton. Computer Services will implement and support secure, integrated, efficient and effective technology and strategic business processes needed for the administration and management of the diocese.
Business process support for diocesan parishes and schools includes training, implementation and helpdesk support.
Standard web based financial fund accounting systems for parishes and schools; and integrated parish management systems for parish offices and religious education.
Supports diocesan catholic schools through web based student administrative systems including scheduling, attendance, grade reporting, transcripts, electronic teacher grade books; and parent portal websites allowing parents to view demographic data, grades, attendance, home work assignments and other communications.
Supports the specific safe environment requirements for diocesan, parish and school positions through the safe environment program record management system, ensuring that all employees, educators and volunteers are properly trained and screened.
