Catechists had the opportunity to gather in breakout sessions according to the age level they serve. These sessions offered the catechist tips for their own personal devotion to the Eucharist and age-appropriate ways to explain the Eucharist to their learners and their family.
Joana Schmidt, Parish Catechetical Leader, St. Theresa Parish

Joana is the Director of Religious Education for the parish of St. Theresa in Little Egg Harbor. She has a BA in theology from Loyola University and an MA in theology and Catholic studies from Franciscan University.
Jessica Donohue, Parish Catechetical Leader, St. Joan of Arc Parish
First Eucharist Preparation
Jessica is the Director of Religious Education (DRE) at St. Joan of Arc Parish in Marlton and previous DRE at her home parish of Sacred Heart in Mount Holly where she served from 2016-2021. Jessica holds an MA in Religious Education from Felician University, and is currently pursuing an MA in Theology from Holy Apostles College and Seminary in Cromwell, Connecticut. She lives in Mount Holly with her husband and two adult sons.
Dr. Mark Russoniello, Parish Catechetical Leaders, Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine

Mark Russoniello has worked in catechetical ministry for over 15 years as a volunteer catechist and Director of Religious Education. He currently serves as DRE at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine in Freehold. Mark holds a master’s degree in Pastoral Theology from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine and a Doctorate in Ministry from the Graduate Theological Foundation.
Lisa Limongello, Parish Catechetical Leader, Catholic Community of Hopewell Valley

Lisa Ann Limongello is the Parish Catechetical Leader for the Catholic Community of Hopewell Valley, serving the linked parishes of St. James (Pennington), St. George (Titusville) and St. Alphonsus (Hopewell). Lisa attended Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore, where she completed her Bachelor's degree in both Political Science and Theology in 2018. She then went on to continue her education in Loyola's rigorous Master of Theological Studies program. While at Loyola, she worked in Campus Ministry, Orientation and New Student Programming, and led many retreats and presentations grounded in Jesuit mission and values. Shortly after defending her Thesis and completing her MTS degree in May 2020, she began her role as a PCL in the Diocese of Trenton in July 2020. Since then, she has been growing and enhancing her linked parish programs for Religious Education, Adult Faith Formation, RCIA and Youth Ministry.

Joe received his Masters Degree from the Institute of Pastoral Studies (Loyola University of Chicago) and his Doctor of Ministry Degree from the University of St. Mary of the Lake (Mundelein Seminary). Special Needs Across All Age Levels
Linda is currently the Chairperson of the Holy Innocents Society, Diocese of Trenton. She currently serves as the President of the St. Vincent de Paul Society Moorestown Council and teaches Special Needs classes and Christian Initiation for children at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish. Linda retired as the Director of Religious Education after serving 33 years in that position. She also volunteers as an Extraordinatry Minister of Holy Communion and a parish musician.

Enza is a professional speaker, certified catechist, and licensed social worker with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a master’s degree in clinical social work from Columbia University. Enza has shared her testimony of God’s transforming grace and the message of chastity for over 15 years. Six years ago, she founded Living Stones Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to proclaiming God’s call to authentic love through the teaching of St. John Paul II known as “Theology of the Body”. Her greatest treasure, besides knowing Jesus Christ, is being a mom to her two daughters

Nanci received her bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University, and earned her master’s in theology from Georgian Court University. She has over seventeen years’ experience in Catholic ministry. Currently she is the Pastoral Associate and Director of Lifelong Faith Formation at St. David the King Roman Catholic Church in Princeton Junction, NJ. In December of 2006 she was commissioned as a Lay Ecclesial Minister in the Diocese of Trenton and in May 2010 completed the Spiritual Director Program at the Upper Room in Neptune, NJ. She is a Mercy Associate for the Mid-Atlantic Region, with the Sisters of Mercy. Prior to working full time for the Catholic Church Nanci spent over twenty years in Pharmaceutical Industry Management both domestically and internationally. Nanci brings a unique set of skills and a joy for the Lord to her ministry.

Patty serves on the Diocesan Eucharistic Revival Team. In her career, she served as a teacher, graduating from The College of New Jersey, and a nurse at St. Francis Medical Center and the New Jersey Army National Guard. She is a commissioned Lay Ecclesial Minister, a Benedictine Oblate, and a member of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes, and of Malta. Patty is a parishoner at Mary, Mother of the Church in Bordentown.
