School Custodian/Maintenance Worker

General Position Description:

St. Catharine School, a PreK-8th Catholic Elementary school located in Spring Lake, NJ, has an immediate opening for a full-time school custodian/maintenance worker. Monday-Friday 7 AM-3 PM. The individual selected for this position needs to work well with others and  have flexibility to work through various daily maintenance situations and custodial tasks.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Maintaining the school building and be accessible throughout the day for any issues. Perform cleaning, facility set up, hauling and moving equipment, and other simple building and grounds maintenance duties for the parish and/or school. Cleaning duties include mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning bathrooms, washing windows, removing trash, etc.

Minimum Requirements:                                      

• Hold a Valid NJ Drivers License
• High School Diploma
• Must submit to Fingerprinting and background check and attend Virtus training
