Our parish team is searching for a team player, who enjoys a combination of administrative tasks and teaching, who has a history of servant leadership and doing little things with great love. Computer skills including data management is required. Good writing skills and familiarity with different communication platforms is preferred. MUST HAVES:
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all pastoral matters
Great communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Computer proficiency in preparing documents and maintaining data
Desire to learn and grow personally and professionally
The ability to complete all Safe Environment training
Including (VIRTUS certification and criminal background check)
Strong working knowledge of the Catholic Church and Catholic teaching
Comfort with teaching when occasion calls for it
NICE-TO-HAVES:
Experience in religious education, RCIA, or adult faith formation
Familiarity with Flocknote
Familiarity with ParishSoft
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the Pastor and Director of Faith Formation (DFF) in the planning and implementation of the parish's faith formation programs (PREP,RCIA, & Adult Faith Formation) including meetings, retreats, and workshops.
Maintain communication with volunteers and families
Manage records (registration, payment, sacramental records, etc.)
Be present during times of need which will include regular nights and weekends.
