April 20, 2022Saint Veronica Church is looking for a full-time Parish Catechetical Leader or PCL. The Parish Catechetical Leader will develop, maintain, and administer the faith formation needs of the parish from “womb to tomb.” He/she will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the Department of Religious Education (RE), Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA), Sacramental Preparation and Adult Faith Formation (AFF) Programming.
The qualified candidate with determine and strategically plan the faith formational needs of the parish under the leadership of the Pastor. This individual will be responsible for the recruitment, training and spiritual formation of catechists, formation ministry leaders and volunteers for multiple ministries.
Job Qualifications:
This position requires:- A master’s degree in Theology, Education or related field.
- Proven leadership skills, and effective oral and written communication skills are necessary for success.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and electronic communication/social media
- An ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
