June 28, 2022Corpus Christi, St. Katharine Drexel, and Mary, Mother of the Church Parishes
The Roman Catholic parishes of Corpus Christi, Willingboro; St. Katharine Drexel, Burlington; and Mary, Mother of the Church, Bordentown in the Diocese of Trenton are collaboratively seeking a full-time Coordinator of Youth Ministry to develop a comprehensive Youth Ministry effort in a multi-parish context.
The successful candidate must be a faith-filled practicing Catholic, energetic, highly motivated, demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, and be able to work well with parish and diocesan leadership. Primary responsibilities will include helping young parishioners to know Jesus Christ, grow in their faith, and participate in the life of their parish; as well as develop leadership teams among the three parishes.
Qualifications include at least 3 years’ experience in parish youth ministry, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (coursework in religious studies or theology preferred), an understanding of Comprehensive Youth Ministry as set forth by the USCCB in Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry, a proficiency in creating documents and flyers, as well as a working knowledge of website applications and social media for ministry. Weekend and evening work is expected.
