The four men who will be ordained priests this Saturday, June 2, recently wrapped up a five-day retreat with Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., and other diocesan leaders held in St. Joseph by the Sea Retreat Center, South Mantoloking. The Rev. Messrs. Christopher Dayton, Michael DeSaye, James Smith and the Rev. Brother Nicholas Dolan – spent time in prayer and reflection, and listened to talks given by the Bishop and others regarding their upcoming new roles as priests of the Diocese of Trenton.

Bishop O’Connell’s priestly ordination. On May 29, 1982, David O’Connell was ordained a priest of the Congregation of the Mission in Mary Immaculate Seminary by Bishop Joseph McShea of the Diocese of Allentown.
