This Sunday, June 17, Bishop O'Connell will be a call-in guest on the Sirius XM show "Personally Speaking" with Msgr. Jim Lisante. The program will air on "The Catholic Channel", station 129, at 7:30 a.m.
Some topics that Bishop O'Connell is expected to discuss are: family, faith formation, the role of a bishop in the U.S. today, working for immigrants and the poor, and understanding God's plan when we face health challenges.

Whether by bing a role model to their peers or voluenteering in their parishes and communities, the twenty six teens from around the Diocese exemplify the meaning of faith, service and spirit in living out their Catholic valeues.
Presented annually by the Diocese's Depaertment of Youth and Yound Adult MImistries, the awards recognize youth who follow in the footsteps of St. TImothy, a young disciple and companion of St. Paul, by living out their faith.
