The annual Diocesan Respect Life Poster, Essay and Video Contest is a great way to educate our young people about respect for life. This year’s theme has been chosen to correspond with the USCCB’s Respect Life program theme: “Every Life is Worth Living.” The contest is open to Catholic elementary schools and parish religious education programs. Before entering this contest it would be helpful for your students to review the 2015-2016 USCCB Respect Life Program for inspiration (below). The USCCB Respect Life Program can also be viewed online at http://www.usccb.org/about/pro-life-activities/respect-life-program/ .
Posters, essays and videos should illustrate the theme and will be judged by members of the Diocesan Respect Life Steering Committee using the criteria outlined on the registration/entry form.
