The Evangelization Ministry seeks to inspire and stimulate the work of bringing the Gospel to life in the parishes and institutions of the Diocese of Trenton. "Evangelizing means bringing the Good News of Jesus into every human situation and seeking to convert individuals and society by the divine power of the Gospel itself."

The Evangelization Ministry of the Office of Parish Life

Is Available To:

  • Consult and network with clergy, individuals, ministries, and parishes about Catholic evangelization
  • Assist parishes in developing evangelization teams and outreach programs to inactive Catholics
  • Consult with pastors and provide formation, training, and networking opportunities for Parish Pastoral Councils

    'Christmas Carol Festival' Outreach Project Resources Available
    In the past year over 150 people from 46 parishes in the Trenton Diocese have been introduced to the evangelization project, "Christmas Carol Festival: A New Way to Reach Inactive Catholics." More than 15 parishes piloted aspects of the "Festival" during the 2007 pre-Christmas season with positive results and suggestions for the revised Guidebook (May 2008). Materials for the project are available from the Office of Parish Life:
    • Best-Loved Christmas Carols (boxed set including: history of carols book, music and lyrics book, CD of 25 carols)
    • Best-Loved Christmas Carols (CD of 25 carols only)
    • Christmas Carol Festival Guidebook: A New Way to Reach Inactive Catholics (book—step by step guide)
