The Diocese of Trenton is coordinating a relief effort to assist those who have been left without basic provisions in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. Drop-off and distribution centers have been established across the affected areas. A call for donations has gone out to help supply these centers with items needed most by residents in the hardest-hit areas.
The National Conference of Catholic Bishops established the Catholic Campaign for Human Development in 1969 as the Church’s domestic anti-poverty program. By helping the poor to participate in the decisions and actions that affect their lives, the program offers to empower the poor to move beyond poverty.
Catholic Charities is a faith-inspired social services organization, founded in 1913, with a mission to alleviate human suffering offering 58 programs at 35 service sites and 72 residential sites in Burlington, Mercer, Monmouth, and Ocean counties.

Catholic Relief Services is a manifestation of love for our brothers and sisters around the globe by the Catholic community of the United States. We protect, defend and advance human life around the world by directly meeting basic needs and advocating solutions to injustice.
Mount Carmel Guild has been helping Mercer County community members in their times of need since 1920 regardless of race or religion. Our services are offered free to those who need them.
Project PAUL was founded in 1980 as a part of the community outreach ministry of St. Ann's Parish, Keansburg, NJ.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is an international Catholic organization of more than 750,000 lay men and women who seek to help the suffering in a spirit of justice and charity through person-to-person involvement.
