Many companies set aside philanthopic dollars and allocate those funds through matching gift programs. These programs allow employees, and sometimes retirees and directors, of the company to make a contribution to an institution which is then matched by a corporate gift. Matching levels vary from one company to another, but regardless of the match percentage, these gifts can represent a significant source of funds for the Bishop's Annual Appeal.
Although procedures for matching gift programs vary, matching gift forms may usually be obtained through the employer's human resource office. The rest is handled by the Diocese and the employer.
