Certificate Program in Pastoral Care

Formation for Parish Leaders and Volunteers in the Ministry of Pastoral Care.
Overview:
- 12 (3-hour sessions) presented (2 per day) on 6 Saturdays
- Presenters are seasoned professionals in chaplaincy, and other pastoral care ministries
- Certificate in Pastoral Care of the Sick earned upon completion of all 12 workshops
- Attending workshops in sequence offered is most beneficial to participant
- Presently being offered in Ocean/Monmouth region in 2008-2009
- To be offered in Mercer/Burlington region in 2009-2010
- As faithful stewards of diocesan funds, priority and discount will be extended to all who minister within the Diocese of Trenton (DOT) -Mercer, Burlington, Monmouth and Ocean Counties
Location: Georgian Court University, Lakewood, NJ (Room-TBD)
Schedule:
Time: 9:00 am-3:30 pm
Session I: 9:00 am-12:00 pm
Lunch: 12:00-12:30 pm (boxed lunch included in the program is free)
Session II: 12:30-3:30 pm
Costs:
Cost for those ministering within DOT counties - for Complete 12-Session Certificate Program
- $180 - for first person from each parish
- $90 - for each additional person from same parish
Cost for those ministering outside of DOT counties - for Complete 12-Session Certificate Program
Cost Per Workshop for those (ministering within or outside of DOT) not registering for entire Program
- $40 per day/$20 per session
