Youth Ministers/ Training
Competent and Confident Youth Ministers...
Our goal is simple: to offer a program for adults who work with teenagers that will help them acquire the skills needed to begin an effective youth ministry program and become competent and confident in engaging teens with faith.
COMPREHENSIVE...provides adults with both the knowledge and skills necessary to work effectively andcreatively with teens in a parish setting.
CREATIVE...offers a variety of learning experiences: workshops,
practical application, small group discussions, reading materials and reflection papers.
COLLABORATIVE... reinforces and affirms the youth minister as one who integrates teens into the life of the parish community. Encourages them to call forth, nurture, and coordinate the talents and gifts of the entire community for ministry to youth.
