      Sep 27 – O God, Let Me Hear Your Voice! - Diocesan Catholic Charismatic Rally
        Learn how to weigh and discern the many clamoring voices that seek our daily attention. Discover how to challenge the worldly voices and values that cry out to us. Topics and Speakers include: "Hearing God Above the Clamor of the World" and "Seeing Beyond 6 Figures" by Father Luke Mary Fletcher, Franciscan Friar of the Renewal; "Choosing More than the Moment" by Caroline Gambale-Dirkes; Witnesses will be Tom and Enza Cerami and Debbie Gaudino; Worship will be led by Dan Dirkes; Mass celebrated by Father Brendan Williams. Mass homilist will be Father Jeff Kegley. Pre-Registration $25.00 fee (includes a hot lunch). Deadline for pre-registration is 9/22/08. Fee at the door will be $30.00. Checks can be made payable to Trenton CCR and mailed to St. Raphael-Holy Angels Church 3500 S Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610, attn. Santa Trombino. Childcare is available for children ages 3 and over. Children must be registered for childcare.

    This is a day of formation/professional day for anyone involved in ministry to youth in your parish/school. The day will begin at 10:00 am with:
    Opening prayer & introduction 10:00 am;

    Lunch 12:15 - 1:15 pm;
    Empowerment Time! 1:30 - 2:15;

        TEENS & SEX: A POSITIVE APPROACH TO HEALTHY ALTERNATIVES - This interactive presentation explores Catolic Church teaching on love and sexuality while making the case for chastity as a viable alternative to sex outside of marriage. Discover how the principles found in John Paul II's Theology of the Body can help parents, catechists, and youth ministers shape their own positive approach for guiding young people in Middle School and High School to a healthy expression of their sexuality.       Jan 22 – 36th ANNUAL MARCH FOR LIFE, WASHINGTON, DC
        Thursday, on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade in Washington, DC. March along Constitution Avenue to Capitol Hill. Join hundreds of thousands of people of all ages at this pro-life event-of-the-year! The Office of Family Life/Respect Life will publicize bus transportation to the March for Life from the Diocese of Trenton. Look for bus listings on www.respectlifetoday.com and in the January 8th, 2009 issue of the Monitor.       Feb 17 – NET Ministries will be in the DOT for retreats
        NET Ministries will be available in the DOT from 2/17/2009-3/10/2009 for retreats for Junion HS students Confirmation retreats. The mission of NET Ministries is to challenge young Catholics to love Christ and embrace the life of the Church. The retreats are designed to enhance the self-esteem of young people.

    Team members offer their faith as a witness to lead youth to make a personal faith commitment to Jesus Christ and to realize that faith in God is desirable, acceptable and and can be an exciting part of their life.

      Feb 21 – True Love Waits Facilitators Training, Jackson
        The Office of Family Life/Respect Life sponsors parish-based True Love Waits programs for youth and young adults in the parishes of the diocese. Through a variety of multi-media presentations, group discussion, and creative activities, this formational experience addresses the Catholic Church's perspective on relationships, sexually transmitted diseases, respect life issues, chastity and decision-making. True Love Waits facilitators training session for parish staff and those serving in religious education, school, and youth ministries will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at St. Aloysius Parish in Jackson, NJ.       Mar 8 – Diocesan Youth Conference, Georgian Court College, Lakewood
        Come join a gathering of hundreds of high school youth grades 9-12 from across the diocese to celebrate their Catholic faith, with dynamic speakers, workshops, Mass and more. Lunch is provided. It is THE event for Central Jersey Catholic teens.

        Young people will come together in the morning for orientation and prayer and receive their service assignments for the day. We will bus participants to and from the sites of service as needed and end with the Good Friday Liturgy.>

      May 17 – New Jersey Catholic Youth Rally, Great Adventure, Jackson, NJ
        NJ Catholic Youth Rally: (open to youth of all ages and their families) is more than a day at Great Adventure. Catholic teens from all over the state come to have fun, listen to a Christian speaker, and celebrate Mass.
