Elementary Schools
Enrollment and Location The Diocese of Trenton consists of 43 Catholic elementary schools. Enrollment in Kindergarten through 8th grade is over 14,500. Pre-school enrollment is 1,450. There are 36 parish schools, five regional schools, two private schools, and one special needs school. The schools are located in Burlington, Mercer, Monmouth, and Ocean Counties.
Faith and Diversity
There is a wide variety of culture and heritage in the Catholic schools with a total minority enrollment of 15.8 percent. Of students enrolled, 4.3 percent are Hispanic, 7 percent are African American, and 2.5 percent are Asian. The majority of students in the Diocese are Catholic, however 9.8 percent of the elementary population are non-Catholic.
Tuition
Each school establishes its own tuition rate. Please contact the school of your choice to determine tuition. Partial tuition assistance is available for families in need. To determine eligibility, an application accompanied by financial materials must be submitted to Private School Aid Service (PSAS) along with an application fee.
Administration and Teaching Staff
Lay men and women, as well as religious and priests, comprise the administration and the teaching staff of Diocesan schools.
Academics
Catholic schools in the Diocese of Trenton are accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Schools follow the New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards as well as the Trenton Diocesan Curricula.
Secondary Schools
Enrollment and Location
There are three diocesan high schools, five parish high schools, and three private high schools in the Diocese of Trenton. Enrollment exceeds 7,600. Two schools enroll females exclusively and one school enrolls males only.

The Catholic high schools educate students with a variety of heritage. A minority enrollment of 11 percent is comprised of 3.2 percent Hispanic students, 4.7 percent African American students, and 2 percent Asian students. The majority of students are Catholic, however, 12.9 percent of the secondary school population is non-Catholic.
